Agro-NRG is a medium-size installation business based in Ootmarsum, the Netherlands. The company began offering total PV solutions since 2009, and carries out complete solar projects from the planning phase to installation. A subsidiary company, Home-NRG, also supplies installers with components for setting up solar power systems.

This project is a 17.2 kWp system that was connected to the national grid in June 2014. A total of 101 Solar Frontier PowerModules based on CIS technology were mounted on the roof of an advertising agency in Tubbergen. They are expected to generate over 16,000 kWh of electricity per year. This will enable the customer to fully cover its power needs with solar energy, and through the production and use of green energy it highlights the company’s commitment to greater sustainability.

Besides the ecological aspect, it was very important to the customer that his solar power plant should also be esthetically pleasing. The solar modules must highlight the creative nature of the company and enhance the appearance of the building. With their uniform black color, the Solar Frontier PowerModules satisfy these requirements perfectly, and have been arranged to form the company logo on the roof of the advertising agency building. Several of the PowerModules also have a green adhesive foil covering but still deliver high yields.
